Beinn Dearg, Cona'Mheall and Meall nan Ceapraichean 30 June 2013
Day 2 of my Steven Fallon weekend, 10.5 h today, and very windy particularly the gusts that caught us down the head of the glen. Dramatic views in shifting mist as we went up the boulder fields to our first Munro, Cona'Mheall (3,215') with views shifting in and out of the mist. Then back down and up alongside the wall, steep in places, to the summit in Beinn Dearg, 3,556', in mist - and also in the fog our 3rd Munro, Meall nan Ceapraichean (3,205')......and another long walk out. Another memorable day in middling weather, rain setting in mid afternoon.

Seana Bhraigh and Eididh nan Clach Geala 29 June 2013
The first day of a weekend with Steven Fallon, and weather better than expected, with morning sun and cloud not rolling in til mid afternoon. 28 km and 10 hours led first, after a long walk-in, to a fairly gentle walk up stunning scenery to the remote Munro of Seana Bhraigh (3,041') with views to the north west and Fisherfield, and south and west to Torridon and the Fannichs, with tomorrow's peak, Beinn Dearg, looming to the south. Back over Eididh nan Clach Geala (3,045') in mist and back to the A835 in drizzle. One of the remotest Munros in the bag.
