A day on the "brothers" ridge in Kintail, foggy with only odd views but little wind and hardly any rain. A steep ascent to the first Munro, Aonach Meadhoin at 3,291' but no view - then a bit of scrambling along the connecting ridge to the highest of the 3, Sgurr a'Bhealaich Dheirg at 3,405', with some dramatic effects in the swirling mist. Finally a more grassy walk to Saileag (3,146') and a steep descent down to Glen Shiel. The cloud base was at about 2,000', and the walk took exactly 6h. The weather cleared in the evening, allowing views down Loch Duich towards the Five Sisters.....Munro total 123.
