An enjoyable route, with a long walk in through the Scots Pine forest of Rothiemurchus. Mostly dry weather with some sunshine, the approach being down the Lairig Ghru then up the NE slopes. The clouds cleared at the summit of Britain's 3rd highest peak (4,251') to give dramatic views across Coire Brochain to Cairn Toul, and east to Ben Macdui and Cairn Gorm.
